Membership Update

To all members of Princeton South Jersey chapter the following information pertains to the membership of our chapter.

Our chapter reached the high point of its membership in May 2008 with a total number of members at 256. Today, due in part to the recession our membership reached a low point in August 2009 with a total number of members at 185.

But there is good news to report, our membership is starting to increase with October’s total at 194. Another good news to report is that since January 2009 to November 2009 the chapter has obtained 63 new members.

As a point of information any member who becomes unemployed and their membership is expiring or has expired may continue their membership free of charge for a period of six months. This six month period can be extended up to eighteen months, if required. Contact Frank Abatangelo for further information APICS07@aol.com  or 732-493-3910.

Another, point of information to any member that is unemployed you may register for CPIM, CSCP or Lean Enterprise courses without paying the tuition. The textbook and the public test is still the member’s obligation.

The schedule of these courses at Shiseido can be obtained on our chapter’s website and are also in this newsletter. The schedule for the free courses given at St. Anselm Church can be obtained from Frank Abatangelo APICS07@aol.com .
