The journey started more than a decade ago when Campbell’s pioneered the use of demand sensing, bringing algorithms and machine learning to supply chain planning. With the continued evolution of demand signal repositories, cloud computing and increased availability of daily retailer data, Campbell’s has leaned in again, leveraging masses of point-of-sale data to take algorithmic demand planning and S&OP to the next level. This presentation provides a project overview, key takeaways and lessons learned.
