What do you believe is the purpose of your resume? As we know, it is important to build and maintain your Professional Brand & Identity at all stages of your career, but how do you successfully outline your experiences on a document? There is a phrase that says, “The resume gets you the interview and the interview gets you the job.” So let’s start with discussing how to write a resume that best represents you and your skill sets.

An LHH Recruiting and Hiring Trends Study showed that 70% of recruiters/hiring managers have turned down candidates based upon their online image, and on the flipside 70% of job seekers have landed a new role through networking. Think of LinkedIn as a virtual directory of people you know and people you want to get to know. Right now, LinkedIn is probably the single most important social networking tool for your career.

There are no true right or wrong answers when it comes to these topics, BUT there are certainly best practices that cannot be disputed!
